A restraint for packaging glass sheets includes a first leg and a second leg,
each
leg having an inner surface configured to contact at least a portion of the glass
sheets and an outer surface. The first and second legs define a vertex. The inner
surfaces are made at least partly of a compressible material and the outer surfaces
are made at least partly of a material having a hardness greater than that of the
compressible material.
