The present invention discloses Arcelin promoters capable of transcribing a heterologous
nucleic acid sequence at high levels in plants. The promoters are particularly
suited for use in soybean plants and plant cells. Methods of modifying, producing,
and using the promoters are also disclosed. The invention further discloses compositions,
transformed host cells, transgenic plants, and seeds containing the high-expression
Arcelin promoters, and methods for preparing and using the same.
