An after-run heating system for a vehicle includes a pump and a control circuit
therefor located in the engine compartment and a separate vehicle fan control circuit
located in the passenger compartment. The after-run heating system is configurable
at the time of installation as an interconnected system or as a divided system.
The interconnected system has direct electrical connections between the control
circuits. The divided system has no mechanical, electrical or electromagnetic connections
between the control circuits. The components in both the engine and passenger compartments
function co-dependently, either as an interconnected system or as a divided system.
