Compounds, compositions and methods treating arthritic disorders such
as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, and for treating other diseases associated
with altered mitochondrial function, such as cancer, psoriasis, stroke, Alzheimer's
Disease and diabetes. The compounds of this invention have the following structure
