The present invention encompasses a process for preparing arylolefins by reacting
one or more arylamines with one or more organic nitrites, in the presence of one
or more olefins which bear at least one hydrogen atom on the double bond and in
the presence of acid and in the presence of palladium or one or more palladium compounds.
