A method, apparatus, and computer instructions for searching for information.
In
response to receiving an input string, the input string is parsed for a universal
resource identifier and a search string, wherein the universal resource identifier
and the search string are separated from each other in the input string by a selected
character. The information corresponding to the search string is searched through
a Web page identified by the universal resource identifier. The information may
be searched by at least one of (a) locating a search object on the Web page, and
using the search object to search for the information; and (b) searching the Web
page for information corresponding to the search string.
