What is described are derivatives of benzoylcyclohexanediones of the formula (I) and their use as herbicides. ##STR1## In this formula (I), R^1a, R^1b, R^1c, R², R³, R⁴ and R⁵ denote various radicals, X¹ is a bridging atom, X² is a carbon chain and X³ is a chalcogen atom or an oximino radical.
