A new and distinct Ilexmeservae plant is provided that originated as a spontaneous mutation of unknown causation of the 'Blue Prince' variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 3,517). The foliage is dark green during the summer and unlike the 'Blue Prince' variety changes to an attractive Bordeaux coloration during the winter. The growth habit is dense, compact, vigorous and well-branched and commonly yields a smaller plant than the 'Blue Prince' variety. Good winter hardiness is displayed, and the plant is well suited for general landscape usage.
