The present invention provide a composition of non-toxic low-cost
ingredients that effectively kill pathologic bacteria and methods for use
of the composition. The present invention comprises novel compositions
and methods for controlling enteric pathogens and spoilage organisms such
as Salmonella, Escherichia, Campylobacter, Listeria, Pseudomonas and
Enterobacteracae on the surface of meat products and food preparation
surfaces.
