In the enabling step, a changing operation for changing the image forming mode after the trial image forming operation is performed. In the prohibiting step, at least one of execution of the trial image forming operation and execution of the changing operation are prohibited when the image forming mode set in the first setting operation satisfies the predetermined condition.
