The present invention provides DNA molecules coding for UDP-glucose:aglycon-glucosyltransferase conjugating cyanohydrins, terpenoids, phenylderivatives or hexanolderivatives to glucose. Transgenic expression of corresponding genes in plants can be used to influence the biosynthesis of the corresponding glucosides.
