A fly-drive vehicle is disclosed including a vehicle body, a motor mounted on
the
vehicle body, at least one rotor rotatably attached to the vehicle body, a pair
of wheels each rotatably attached to a lower portion of the vehicle body, a drive
propeller rotatably coupled to the vehicle body, a transmission for selectively
transferring mechanical power from the motor to at least one of the pair of wheels
or to the drive propeller, and a front wheel control mechanism. The fly-drive vehicle
also includes a landing gear assembly for raising and lowering the pair of wheels
with respect to the vehicle body and a folding rotor shaft assembly for raising
and lowering the rotor with respect to the vehicle body.
