The invention provides isolated polynucleotide molecules which encode novel isoforms
of the human Vitamin D receptor (hVDR) or variant transcripts for hVDR. These isolated
polynucleotide molecules may be utilized in, for example, methods of screening
compounds for VDR agonist and/or antagonist activities.
