A musical tune that may be likely to be reproduced is selected from among plural musical tunes in accordance with prescribed rules, so that the music data of the selected musical tune are precedently transferred from the first storage to the second storage to enable smooth reproduction in response to an incoming call whose telephone number specifies the selected musical tune.
