Disclosed is a damping device to be incorporated into fluid systems, particularly
hydraulic systems, said damping device comprising an expansion hose. An essentially
rigid damper which is oriented counter to the direction of flow, is disposed inside
the internal space of said expansion hose. The damper pipe is provided with a completely
closed wall, resulting in a good damping effect. Preferably, the damper pipe is
significantly less flexible in the radial direction than the outer expansion pipe,
whereby the damping effect is substantially enhanced.
