A heat-shrinkable polyester film comprising a polyester base film and a coat layer formed on one or both sides of the polyester base film, said coat layer comprising a copolymerised polyester having carboxyl group terminals and Tg in the range of 70 to 80;, exhibits superior properties suitable for labeling or shrink-wrapping containers.
