Provided herein are pumpable, semi-solid low calorie sugar substitute
compositions, kits and articles of manufacture that include the low
calorie sugar substitute compositions, and methods for using the low
calorie sugar substitute compositions in comestibles. The low calorie
sugar substitute compositions are a semi-solid aqueous gel formed from a
polyol; a high intensity sweetener; an insoluble fiber; a gelling agent
and an optional thickener.
