The invention relates to benzoxazepinone derivatives of formula ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, and n are as defined in the specification and to a pharmaceutically suitable acid addition salt thereof. These compounds are good .gamma.-secretase inhibitors for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
