The judgment means determines whether or not a specified data pattern can be used as a replacement to record a data block. Namely, judgment means determines that a data block can be recorded by using a specific data pattern when the data block and the data pattern match. The access processing means stores identification information for identifying the specified data pattern used to record the data block rather than storing contents of the data.
