In accordance with a release trigger generated by pressing a release switch included in an electronic endoscope, the personal computer records image signals output from an endoscope device, which are associated with examination information relating to endoscope examination input through a keyboard and/or a mouse. Then, the personal computer displays image signals and/or information output from the endoscope device on a monitor. The personal computer searches and displays examination information in accordance with a search condition input by the keyboard and/or the mouse. In addition, the personal computer searches and displays examination information by changing a search range under a predetermined condition with respect to the search condition.
