The present disclosure relates generally to the field of phosphodiesterase 10 (PDE10) enzyme inhibition by cinnoline compounds of Formulas I and II: wherein R.sup.1--R.sup.3 and R.sup.15--R.sup.18 are as defined herein. The disclosure also relates to methods of preparing such compounds, compositions containing such compounds, and methods of use thereof.
