A light emitting device material comprising a compound represented by the following formula (1): ##STR00001## wherein Ar.sup.11, Ar.sup.12 and Ar.sup.31 each represent an arylene group, Ar.sup.12, Ar.sup.22 and Ar.sup.32 each represent a substituent group or a hydrogen atom, provided that at least one among Ar.sup.11, Ar.sup.21, Ar.sup.31, Ar.sup.12, Ar.sup.22 and Ar.sup.32 has a condensed-ring arene or heteroarene structure, and Ar represents a trivalent arene or heteroarene group.
