A clasp particularly for a cord or lace. The clasp can be used in
connection with shoe laces or tightening cords for various garments, for
example. The clasp has a male portion and a female portion having mutual
connecting structures. Each of the male and female portions has a
structure for connecting to an associated end of the cord/lace, and the
male and female portions have complementary guiding structures so as to
facilitate their engagement/disengagement.
