means and means for recording the number of franking operations. It
comprises means for connection via a computerized communication network,
to a central server of a computerized central control center, and means
forming a computerized server adapted to transmit and receive
computerized requests and responses for performing transactions with the
central server, said transactions being selected among at least a
resetting of the means recording the franking operations, a transfer of
files constituting the records of the recording means and a franking
cycle.
