The present invention relates to new UV-protection formulations with improved stability in respect to crystallisation, characterized in that a compound of formula (1) or a mixture thereof ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.1 is substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.6 C.sub.12alkyl, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently from each other hydrogen; substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 C.sub.4alkyl, preferably hydrogen; unsubstituted C.sub.1 C.sub.2alkyl or substituted C.sub.1 C.sub.2alkyl, more preferably hydrogen. is added to the UV-protection formulation.
