Compounds of the formula (I) below, or pharmacologically acceptable salts, esters or other derivatives thereof: ##STR00001## wherein A is furan, thiophene, pyrazole, imidazole, isoxazole or isothiazole; R.sup.1 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl; R.sup.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl; and R.sup.3 is a bicyclic amino group; provided that the substituents R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are bonded to the two atoms of the cyclic group A which are adjacent to the atom of the cyclic group A to which the substituent R.sup.2 is bonded. The compounds inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines.
