A displaying apparatus (10) is configured such that illumination light
emitted from light sources (15, 15 . . . ) disposed on a back side of a
liquid crystal displaying plate (11) illuminates an optically transparent
displaying section (16a) of a dial plate (16) provided on a front side of
the liquid crystal displaying plate (11) by passing through the liquid
crystal displaying plate (11). Further, polarizing plates (13, 14)
overlapping the optically transparent displaying section (16a) are cut
out from the liquid crystal displaying plate, whereby the illumination
light may illuminate the optically transparent displaying section (16a),
passing through a liquid crystal displaying plate (111).
