The apparatus comprises a substrate having a predetermined size and a predetermined configuration and selected words disposed adjacent definitions of the selected words on at least one side of the substrate, the selected words being words that are used in such predetermined book which are likely to be unfamiliar to an average reader of such book for which the apparatus is to be used.
