Opaque polyester film containing a cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) with good surface attachment, method for producing the same and use thereof

The invention relates to an opaque, biaxially oriented polyester film comprising at least one base layer, characterized in that at least this base layer contains a cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) in a concnetration of 2 to 60 wt. % in relation to the base layer, the glass transition temperature of said cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) being 70 to 270.degree. C.; and in that at least one surface is provided with a coupling agent.
