A cutlery-accommodating device is integrated in the rack side element to produce an integral dish rack the allows, on one hand, the straightforward construction of the base rack--preferably in the form of a U--and, on the other hand, the releasable fastening of the rack side element to an integrated cutlery-accommodating device.
