In the present invention, a freely rotatable rotating part in which a single multidirectional switch is mounted is assisted to an initial position by a rotation recovery means, and the rotation from this initial position is detected by a rotation detection means. As a result, inclination of a control part toward the front or rear or toward the right or left or rotation of the control part toward the right or left can each be individually detected, and when this inclination or rotation of the control part is suspended, the control part can be automatically returned to the initial position. Accordingly, an input control device, in which a control part that has been inclined toward the front or rear or toward the right or left or rotated to the right or left automatically returns to its initial position, can be realized by a simple construction.
