A method for logging a radio module into a cellular radio network, where the radio module automatically logs into the radio network when it is turned on by virtue of it transmitting a login message to the radio network, the radio network storing login data for the radio module and these the login data being deleted again when the radio module logs out. In response to an autoreset signal in the radio module a controlled autoreset is triggered in which the radio module temporarily turns off and then on again or temporally deactivates from the radio network and then registers again.
