In the cellular phone set of this invention, when a radio wave directed to the cellular phone set is received, the reception electric field strength level of the radio wave and/or the residual amount level of a supply battery is detected, and incoming call notification is visually and/or tactually performed in accordance with this detection result. When incoming call notification is to be done by using ringing tones, different ringing tones are set in accordance with the reception electric field strength levels of radio waves and/or the residual amount levels of the supply battery.
