A silver salt photo-thermal photographic dry imaging material comprising on a support a light-sensitive layer containing light-insensitive silver salt of aliphatic carboxylic acid particles, a light-sensitive emulsion having light-sensitive silver halide grains, a silver ion reducing agent and a binder. The light-sensitive emulsion contains silver halide particles having diameters of from 0.001 .mu.m to 0.050 .mu.m in the ratio of 50% or more by weight in terms of silver of the entire light-sensitive silver halide grains contained, and the number average particle diameter of the light-insensitive silver salt of aliphatic carboxylic acid is from 0.01 .mu.m to 0.60 .mu.m.
