A system, method, and program product for controlling execution timing of
multiple jobs. The job execution scheduling system of the present
invention includes job execution means for executing multiple jobs,
including a first job which is executed at irregular intervals, and a
second job which is executed at regular intervals. The system further
includes means for determining a probability distribution of times at
which the first job is executed by the job execution means. Execution
timing means are utilized for scheduling execution of the second job by
the job execution means in accordance with the determined probability
distribution.
