An oral composition comprising 0.5 to 10% by weight of an abrasive precipitated silica having a 50 percentile (d50) of particle diameter being 5 .mu.m or less, a 90 percentile (d90) of particle diameter being 15 .mu.m or less and an RDA value of 120 or more, and 0.01 to 5% by weight of at least one of sulfosuccinate surfactants represented by general formula (1): ##STR00001## [wherein either X.sub.1 or X.sub.2 is R.sub.1O--(AO).sub.n-- or the like and the other is M.sub.2O--; M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 are the same or different and each represent hydrogen, alkali metal, etc.; R.sub.1 is C.sub.8-22 alkyl, etc.; AO is C.sub.2-3 oxyalkylene and the average number of moles of AO addition polymerization, "n", is 0 to 20; and B is --NH-- etc.]
