Disclosed are compounds of the formula ##STR00001## wherein the variables R.sub.N, R.sub.C, R.sub.1, R.sub.25, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 are as defined herein. These compounds have activity as inhibitors of beta-secretase and are therefore useful in treating a variety of discorders such as Alzheimer's Disease.
