An apparatus for improving vision including an intraocular lens, haptics
extending outwardly from a periphery of the intraocular lens, a first
anchor connected to the haptics and a second anchor connected to the
haptics so as to position the intraocular lens in the anterior chamber of
a cornea. Each of the first and second anchors is implanted into the
cornea or into the sclera adjacent to the cornea. The intraocular lens
has a truncated circular shape.
