Golf ball 1 has multisurface dimples 4a. The multisurface dimple 4a has a
central concave face 7 and six inclined faces 8. The inclined face 8
extends obliquely upward from the edge 9 of the central concave face 7 up
to the phantom sphere. Two multisurface dimples 4a are adjacent each
other sharing a boundary line 10 on spherical surface interpositioned
therebetween. Total length of the boundary lines 10 that exist at the
site where multisurface dimples 4a are adjacent each other is equal to or
less than 2400 mm. Proportion of the multisurface dimples 4a occupied in
total number of dimples is preferably equal to or greater than 70%.
Proportion of the number of the boundary lines 10 occupied in the number
of sites where multisurface dimples 4a are adjacent each other is equal
to or greater than 70%.
