A composition containing sporopollenin is disclosed which is characterized
in that it is present as a solution and, aside from 0.01% to 12% by
weight, preferably 0.1% to 5% by weight, of sporopollenin, it also
contains 0.01% to 17% by weight, preferably 0.1% to 10% by weight, of at
least one emulsifier, it also contains 71.00% to 99.98% by weight,
preferably 85% to 99.80% by weight, of at least one hydrophilic solvent,
and the use of this composition for cosmetic, pharmaceutical purposes, as
chelating agents and nutritional supplements is also disclosed.
