Disclosed are N-substituted benzenesulfonamides for use in treating or preventing cognitive disorders, such as Alzheimer's Disease. ##STR00001## In Formula (I), R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.3', R.sub.10 and R.sub.11 are as described herein. The invention also encompasses pharmaceutical compositions comprising compounds of Formula (I) as well as methods of treating cognitive disorders using compounds of Formula (I).
