A novel compound having sufficiently high fastness to light, heat,
humidity and active gas in the environment and a coloring composition
using the compound, particularly, an ink for ink jet recording, an ink
jet recording method and a method for improving the preservability of
formed image, which can form an image having high fastness to light and
ozone gas in the environment. A phthalocyanine dye mixture having a
specific structure and an ink, an ink for ink jet recording, an ink jet
recording method and a method for improving the preservability of formed
image, using the phthalocyanine dye mixture.
