displayed intuitively and in an easily comprehensible manner in the form
of a virtual pilot vehicle, superimposed on an image of the vehicle
environment. The display mode and/or position and/or orientation and/or
size of the virtual pilot vehicle are determined for example in
accordance with the route information, speed, reference points for a
recommended route, position and orientation of the vehicle or the camera
that records the vehicle environment.
