A method determines a routing for radio transmission between a first and a
second radio station of a radio communication system, said system having
a plurality of additional radio stations in addition to the first and the
second radio stations. The routing passes through at least two of the
additional radio stations, in such a way that information can be
transmitted by radio between the first and the second radio stations via
the routing. The system is provided with a radio communication device,
which recognizes adjacent relationships between the radio stations of the
radio communications systems. The radio communication device specifies a
sub-group of the radio stations in the routing in response to a request
for the determination of a routing between the first and the second radio
stations and transmits respective radio stations identification
information relating to one ore more radio stations in the sub-group of
radio stations to the first and/or second radio station(s).
