The invention relates to acyl-4-carboxyphenylurea derivatives and to their physiologically tolerated salts and physiologically functional derivatives.The invention particularly relates to compounds of formula I, ##STR00001## in which the radicals have the given meanings described herein, and to their physiologically tolerated salts and processes for preparing them. The compounds are, for example, suitable for use as antidiabetics.
