A radiation image conversion panel is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon a stimulable phosphor layer formed by vapor deposition of a stimulable phosphor, wherein the stimulable phosphor layer meets the following requirement: 0.ltoreq.B.ltoreq.90A.sup.-0.17 wherein A is a thickness (.mu.m) of the stimulable phosphor layer and B is a transmittance (%) of a stimulating light or a stimulated emission.
