The present invention is directed to methods for treating, preventing, ameliorating, controlling or reducing the risk of an inflammatory or immunoregulatory disorder or disease, which method comprises the administration to a patient of an effective amount of the compound of formula I: ##STR00001## (wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7, R.sup.8, R.sup.9, R.sup.10, X, n and the dashed line are defined herein) which are useful as modulators of chemokine receptor activity. In particular, these compounds are useful as modulators of the chemokine receptor CCR-2.
