A digital pen-based application form filling system with a modification
prevention function, which eliminates a possibility that digital
information initially written in digital paper using a digital pen may be
modified deliberately or accidentally. The system prints a new fine
pattern over areas in already written digital paper whose contents one
wishes to protect against being modified. This printing adds a fine
pattern to an original dot pattern already present on the digital paper
to make it theoretically impossible to enter information into these areas
using the digital pen.
