An antireflective layer comprising a plurality of functional layers having different refractive indexes, the plurality of functional layers including a lower fractive index layer containing a fluorine-containing copolymer, wherein the low refractive index layer further contains a polymer having a polymer graft part containing a polysiloxane segment represented by the following formula [1] in a side chain of the polymer: ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; and p is an integer of from 10 to 500.
