A glass protecting film comprising at least 5 or more layers, of which at least one layer is the layer which comprises polyester having 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol is one of the components, and a glass protecting comprising a multi-layer structure which comprises at least two kinds of thermoplastic resin, of which the difference of glass transition temperature is 40.degree. C. or less, the face-impact strength is 18 J/mm or more, haze is 3% or less, are films which excel in transparency, tear resistance, and impact resistance, and are suitable for protecting glass and preventing damaged glass fragments.
